Token2049 Singapore was a busy and exciting event for us at bemo. We made valuable connections, got inspired by new ideas, and found exciting opportunities while enjoying the city. With our very own Konstantin Zherebtsov representing the team, we had the chance to showcase bemo’s vision and connect with people who share our passion for DeFi innovation.
Here’s a recap of our experience and key takeaways from the event!
Insight #1: Side events are still where real conversations happen
Token2049 has really brought the global crypto community together in one place.
While the main event was certainly impressive, nothing new here, yet too large for a chat, and the true value for us came from more personal interactions and focused discussions both with key industry figures and newcomers at the side events.
We got to chat with some of the sharpest minds in the crypto world, brainstorming integration strategies or swapping ideas on how to make DeFi products better.
Insight #2: TON made a bold impact at Token2049
The TON Foundation and other network’s teams definitely made their mark at the conference, putting together some of the biggest and most impressive side events of the week. These gatherings drew in literally tons of people from different crypto projects and ecosystems.
Plus, the level of interest from protocols and projects wanting to integrate with TON speaks volumes about its potential. Many notable and new DeFi projects are exploring a shift and deployment to TON, attracted by its ability to scale and tap into a broader user base.
Being part of these conversations left us inspired to find new ways we could contribute to TON’s growing momentum.
Insight #3: TON bets big on retail adoption
TON’s focus on attracting retail users stood out. Their strategy is to create a seamless experience for blockchain newcomers, with a gamified approach to user education — an engaging way to onboard the next wave of DeFi users.
TON’s ambition to reach 900 million users is bold, but if they succeed in creating the frictionless experience they’re aiming for, it’s not far-fetched — a mission we’re excited to support.
And fine, memes could be part of that journey.
Insight #4: The more bridges we build between platforms, the more value we can unlock for users.
Users should easily move between protocols, and our role as builders is to make that process as smooth as possible.
To act on that, we had the chance to sit down with teams from Utonic, Tbook, Storm.Fi, TON Foundation, Midas, Bitget Wallet, and the conversations felt like the start of something big.
We explored how bemo could collaborate with these projects, from additional utility to enhancing dApp user experience. These conversations opened the door to some partnerships that could shape bemo’s future.
Looking ahead: What’s next for bemo?
Our experience at Token2049 confirmed one thing: being part of the TON ecosystem is the future for now.
We came away with a refreshed sense of purpose and excitement. With the new connections and ideas we’ve gained, we’re more excited than ever about what lies ahead.
Stay tuned for more updates as we work to bring these partnerships to life!
Thank you, Singapore, and all the teams behind, and participants for an incredible Token2049 experience!
